Ooohhhhh!

Hayden makes me laugh every day.....
and today was no exception!
The last two days he has figured out
how to make this cute little face and it
cracks me up every time!! All of a sudden, his whole
expression changes....and I wonder if he is really
excited about something, or if it just
feels cool to move his lips like this?!

Yah Baby! I'm 14 months old today!!

Am I a superstar, or what?@#!
I love to wear mommy's sunglasses and
I sure think I am pretty cool!
Hayden is really keeping us busy....trying VERY hard
to walk on his own, saying all kinds of new words,
and exploring EVERYTHING he can get his hands on!
He loves to wave, give kisses, open and close the screen door,
play in Zeus' water dish, eat kitty food, go for rides in his
wagon or jogger, chatter, play with the blinds, hang on Mommy,
help Daddy with projects, get dirty,
and climb on anything he can.....
just to name a few!!

Hayden is on the move people!!!!

Hayden is a little cautious when it comes to walking, so we decided to bring up the Winnie the Pooh airplane from the basement to give him a little support when walking around.......very cute.

You go buddy! By the way, watch the walls, it's not a bumper car!

Hayden has discovered a new place to play......
beside the garage with all of the rocks!!
He can occupy himself forever, but he has to be reminded
NOT to put them in his mouth!
He also loves the 'tinny' sound of the rocks as he
drops them into the holes of the ladder.
He's loving the warm weather and
he is a VERY busy, and very
entertaining little boy!

**And by the way.....he is sporting haircut #4!!**

Hayden was sporting his new orangutan shirt....
(that Auntie Keri got him at H&M)
and boy, is it appropriate attire!
Daddy started a new fun game with our
little monkey......
he laughs like crazy when you put
your foot on his belly and jiggle it around
'cause he is super ticklish!

13 Months old today!

Okay...so there has never been a debate
about the fact Hayden looks like his daddy.
But, I think he is really starting to
have some of mommy's expressions too!!
He has taken 2 steps on his own, so we
think walking will be happening very soon.
He now loves bananas, giving the best hugs EVER,
his sippy cup, showing off his dance moves, and
doing repeated time-trials up and down the stairs!
He loves to be outside, and our patio screen door
is getting a work out with him coming in
and going out....over and over again!!
I am loving his growing independance, but the
stubborn nature must be from daddy!

Happy Mother's Day!

My second Mother's Day was great!
Hayden slept until 8:30 AM (which I prayed for the night before!!),
Daddy made a nice breakfast, I got fabulous prezzies from
both of my boys, and we went shopping for flowers for
Mommy's pots and flower beds while enjoying a
yummy Starbucks coffee!!
We met up with some other special mommies too.....
Oma and Auntie Tessa!
The only other thing that would have made
the day even more perfect,
would have been
seeing my mom and my sister.
I missed them today!

Hayden had a big birthday celebration,
and we had so much fun!!
He loved the balloons....and being
the center of attention!

Mommy & Daddy made the
Dora the Explorer cake....and some
extra cupcakes for people who didn't want
Hayden's crumbs!!

Hayden loved ALL of his prezzies,
but it was tough to keep his
attention.....each time he got something
new, he wanted to play with it!!

from Uncle Nick & Auntie Keri....
he'll look so cute riding around in his
Cozy Coupe or Radio Flyer wagon
sporting such a fun shirt!

Snuggle time & juice time...
it was a very busy day but Hayden
was an angel.

Haircut #3!!

We buzzed all of Hayden's hair off today....
and he looks SO CUTE!!
This is haircut #3 because his hair
is growing like crazy....don't have to look
farther than Mommy or Daddy to
figure out why!
Besides.... a mullet doesn't work for you
when you look this cute in
a Flames jersey!!

Hayden and Daddy were enjoying an afternoon
snack....and Daddy has taught Hayden
how to pull the crackers from the bag
all by himself! But, he isn't greedy,
he gently takes one at a time.

I swear, Hayden is going to need
another haircut soon!!
It seems like his hair is going to be
difficult to keep under control.....

Brody is borrowing our excersaucer.......
and Hayden is suddenly
interested in it again!
So, he decides he should show Brody
how everything works....
What are older cousins for, right?!

They look like they are having
a real heart-to-heart!
It is so cute to see them interacting,
and Hayden is gentle with him....
but when he gets older,
let the rough-housing begin!!

We can hardly believe that our little Hayden

is 11 months old today!
He loves to play Peek-a-Boo, and will hide behind
a blanket, his hands, his shirt,
or in this case.....is fruit dish!
He is a little monkey and loves
to entertain us!!

Hayden's Milk Goatee!

Mr. Hayden is now drinking HOMO milk,
and he likes to be very independant
now that he is such a big boy.....
which equals being messy!!
It usually takes him hours to finish
this bottle because he "grazes."
He is far too busy to sit still....
he must learn this technique from Mommy!
